Overview
Accuro Appointment Confirmations helps clinics reduce no-shows, streamline front-desk workflows, and keep their schedules full by automating appointment reminders. Messages are sent via email, SMS/text, or voice, patients are prompted to confirm or cancel, and their status updates in real time inside the Accuro scheduler.
How it works:
  • Clinic schedules an appointment in Accuro EMR.
  • The system automatically sends a reminder at the configured time via voice/text/email.
  • Patient receives the reminder and is able to confirm or cancel via the same channel.
  • The appointment status in Accuro updates (e.g., “confirmed” or “cancelled”).
Use cases:
  • Family medicine clinics with high appointment volume
  • Specialist practices with costly missed appointments
  • Multi-provider/multi-location clinics needing unified scheduling across staff
  • Behavioural health practices with elevated no-show risk
  • Clinics serving patients with barriers to access (transportation, language, digital divide)
  • Clinics with frequent pre-visit requirements (fasting, labs, imaging prep, medication holds)
  • Procedural or high-complexity clinics (endoscopy, minor surgery, pain clinics)
  • Clinics with long waitlists or limited appointment supply
