Encryption:
CleverConsult encrypts all confidential data at rest and in transit using industry-standard algorithms like AES-256 and TLS (SSL Labs B+ grade). We enforce full-disk encryption on all endpoints and backups, manage cryptographic keys following NIST SP 800-57 guidelines, and strictly prohibit storing confidential information on removable media.
Authentication:
Authentication includes secure user login management via user name and password (14 character password limit to comply with privacy best practices) and support for password reset. Single Sign On (SSO) is being introduced in the near future.
Logging & Monitoring:
CleverConsult maintains detailed event logs across all production infrastructure to record user activities, security events, and system faults. Our logging standard requires capturing the User ID, IP address, timestamp, and action performed for all critical events, including authentication, CRUD operations on sensitive objects, and security configuration changes. These logs are protected against unauthorized access and tampering, with security event data retained for at least one year in our cloud environments. We utilize automated alerting to proactively identify significant threats to system integrity, and our Security Delegate and engineering teams regularly review administrator and system operator activities to ensure continuous operational security.
