Overview

FirstHx provides a dynamic digital intake assessment that collects a detailed patient history prior to the patient appointment. Unlike static forms, FirstHx uses adaptive questioning logic to tailor each history based on the patient’s symptoms, history, and demographics.

Once completed, FirstHx generates a structured encounter note template within Accuro, summarizing key details and providing clinicians with a clean, ready-to-review starting point for documentation. This reduces in-appointment interview time, enhances chart quality, and ensures that important clinical information is captured consistently.

Clinics benefit from smoother workflow, less administrative burden, and better-prepared patient encounters.

How it works: 
  • Clinic triggers an intake form (automatically or manually).
  • FirstHx sends the patient a secure link via SMS, or administrative staff can send a patient an email.
  • The patient answers a series of questions and completes the dynamic intake assessment on their mobile device’s internet browser.
  • FirstHx generates a structured intake summary and creates a note template in Accuro.
  • The provider reviews and completes the encounter during the appointment.
  • Optional: Data is encrypted; routed based on clinic configuration

Certifications:

The platform follows SOC 2–aligned controls and practices but is not SOC 2 certified at this time, and is compliant with HIPAA and PHIPA/PIPEDA requirements. FirstHx has been assessed by a process based on the following standards: National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); Cybersecurity Framework (CSF); Centre for Internet Security (CIS); Critical Security Controls (CSC); and ISO/IEC 27002:2013(E) Information technology.

Patient Verification
