Appointment Notifications can send patients an email reminder 24 hours before their scheduled appointment. Clinics using Online Booking do not need to purchase a separate reminder tool for this feature.
- The clinic configures Online Booking rules in Accuro, including providers, appointment types, appointment length, and available times.
- The clinic shares its online booking page with patients, such as through the clinic website or email.
- The patient selects a provider, appointment type, and available appointment time.
- Depending on the clinic’s setup, the appointment is either booked directly into the Accuro schedule or submitted as a request for clinic review.
- The patient receives an appointment confirmation by email.
- If the appointment is cancelled, the patient can receive a cancellation notification by email and SMS, depending on configuration.
- An Appointment Notification email is sent 24 hours before the appointment.
- Clinic staff continue managing appointments in Accuro as part of their usual scheduling workflow.
